The day I joined YTTC marked a remarkable change in my life.  At YTTC teachers are trained in all aspects such as codes of conduct, skills and values.  Above all there is spiritual transformation through the morning devotions and evening fellowship, where a lot of constructive messages are passed to the students via the various speakers.

With respect to its products, YTTC takes the lead in producing a new breed of exceptional and professionally upright teachers who are capable of transforming  societies and improving the quality of education in the primary schools in South Sudan.

The greatest inspiration I got from the time I joined this college was from the qualified, committed, God fearing and hard working staff who are capable of giving both academic and administrative knowledge to the student teachers.

Here in YTTC, the focus is not only on training teachers about how to teach, but also on skills of how to live independently.  I thank the college for passing on these skills to me.  I now know that as a teacher, I have a role to play in promoting quality education in South Sudan.
